Welcome to my website! My name is Janet, and I offer private tours with my own car. I would love to show you my area!
Please have a look around the site, and keep in mind that these are private tours, so we can adjust them to your wishes.
The price is per person: €135 for 2.5 hours. An extension is possible for €50 per additional hour per person.
Besides myself, my car has space for 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. If you would like to come with more people, please contact me.
If you have any concerns about the amount of walking involved, please feel free to contact me. If you use a lightweight wheelchair, I am happy to assist and push it for you.

Dear Viking guests,
I will personally make sure you return to your ship on time, so you can relax and enjoy the tour without any worries. The itinerary will be carefully tailored to your ship’s docking schedule.
You may choose a 2.5-hour tour that starts and ends in Kinderdijk, or extend your experience to up to 4 hours, with the tour ending directly at your ship in Kinderdijk, Gorinchem, Rotterdam, or Dordrecht, depending on your ship’s route.
Windmill experience
In a small village near Kinderdijk, there is a private windmill. Here, you will meet the miller and he will take the time to give you a private tour. And best of all.. you even have the opportunity to help operate the windmill!
After the visit we still have time to see a little bit of the country side, make a short stop at the Kinderdijk windmills or have a drink in the local pub.
There is an option for both those seeking leisure (only outside and ground floor inside) and those looking for a more active experience.

Cheese Farm & Taste & countryside
Come with me to visit a local cheese farm in the original Gouda region. The family has been making cheese for over 300 years, and the farm is now run by the 7th-generation cheesemaker. I would love to show you around and tell you all about the cheese-making process and the history of the farm.
Of course, we will taste the cheese, and you will have the chance to purchase some to take home.
Would you also like to meet the cows?
This is a leisurely tour — no rush, no worries.
After the visit, we will still have time to drive through the countryside and make a few photo stops along the way.
Local foods shops, bites & drinks
Do you enjoy the same things I do? Let’s get to know the area by driving from one local specialty to the next.
How about a local beer from a tiny brewery, available only in this region?
Bitterballen or French fries with warm peanut butter sauce?
Cheese, of course!
Maybe we’ll enjoy a coffee inside a windmill or try a glass of fresh raw cow’s milk — depending on your taste and what’s available that day.
We’ll take a relaxed drive through the countryside and visit local (farm) shops along the way.
It’s going to be a relaxed, easygoing, and delicious tour!
Walking & boot tour Kinderdijk windmills
As the granddaughter of a miller, I can take you through my childhood memories and share stories about life in a windmill. We will walk and, if available, take a boat ride, while talking about life below sea level and water management.
We will visit the mill from the inside to see how people used to live and how the gears work.
Along the way, we’ll take beautiful photos and enjoy a cup of coffee to warm up again.
